Memphis Lights, One-off
This unique one-off pendant collection is a collaboration by Wiid Design and Ceramic Matters.
These lights are fabricated from glazed earthenware ceramic, aluminium, stainless steel, dark cork and glass.

Large Cork Pendant
The world’s largest cork pendant light.
Manufactured in Cape Town from organic and completely recyclable dark or light cork. The dark cork is manufactured from recycled cork particles and is produced industrially without the use of additives and requires low energy consumption. Whereby the light cork is 98.5% natural with a small amount of adhesive to bind the granules, making it durable and user friendly.
The light is fabricated from mild steel tubing, mild steel plate and stainless steel. The mild steel components are electro-galvanised and finished in a durable black ferrograin powder coat.
Each pendant is fitted with a dimmable 30W warm white LED light. Sizes can be customised to client requirements, this includes custom diameters for the cork shade.
This product can also be fabricated for ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted applications.

Manufactured in Cape Town from up-cycled, overprinted ‘isaka’ bags, these pendants promote the re-use of materials, providing a light-hearted, local look.
The lights are available in a variety of colours and in a variety of prints. Every print is unique and therefore cannot be replicated.
The string pattern and colour aspects of the design can be customised to client requirements.
